I love these inspiring images. Jillian Michaels recently said in an interview that she hates running but that she does it because runners are skinny. Nuff' said! I always start, and then I give up. Not this time.

If anyone out there is reading this and is a runner and could offer some tips for me, I would love to hear them.

  1. Lindsey, have you continued? I HATED running up until .... about 2 days ago. No, kidding. Until I started training for this half-marathon and found a plan that was actually doable. Most on the internet up your mileage wayyy too quickly for me and I would always end up feeling out of shape and like a failure. The Runners World website has a tool called Smart Coach that has made a huge difference for me. Another big help was having Josh run with me..It made me motivated to keep going. BUT the biggest tip is to just keep going out there...I think that's helped me the most. I like every other form of exercise SO much better than running, so I would always go, "Eh. Ok 1 mile is enough. Now I'll go do yoga." and never forced myself to push further. Anyways, I just wrote an absolute novel, but I promise it DOES get better! Keep with it! You won't regret it.
