Kindergarten Graduation

Kindergarten was a great experience for Connor, aside from the fact that he broke his arm on the very first day! He learned a lot, met new friends, and had a very sweet teacher. Drew and I have loved hearing his little voice reading to us or learning sight words each week. Kindergarten graduation day was so exciting and highly anticipated by Connor! Every morning during the last 2 or 3 weeks of school he would remind me that we were nearing the end and how many days we had left. Little does he realize, he has a LOT of school left in his life...especially if he decides to go for as long as his Mommy is going! ;) The attitude around our house is to work hard and play harder...we work very hard during the school year and play even harder (usually by the pool) during the summer! Okay...I am getting off topic here, anyway...Con's teacher put together a slide show of pics from the entire year and the kids watched it while they ate chicken minis for breakfast until it was time for the awards ceremony. They all laughed at the pictures and loved the fact that Mrs. A gave them all a cd to take home of the slide show. Drew and I are so proud of how great Connor did in "real school" and can't wait to see his achievements as a 1st grader!
