Happy Birthday Drew!!!

These are just a fraction of my favorite pictures of Drew. Today is his birthday, and he is off of work - so Connor and I are spending the day wishing him a VERY Happy Birthday! Truly, I am the luckiest girl in the world to be married to such a great looking, hard-working, loving, smart, sweet, and loving guy. And, Connor is lucky to have such a great Daddy!!!
So, Happy Birthday Drew, here's to many, many, many more....!!!
We love you!

Fingers Crossed...

I am crossing my fingers, hoping, and PRAYING that....

....Connor recovers asap from the little stomach bug that he started being sick with last night. As luck  would have it, school was canceled today due to the crazy weather we had late last night.

....All of the people involved in the many wrecks and accidents last night are safe and that nobody suffered any major damage.

....We all stay well for the Christmas things we have going on. None of us have time to get sick!

....the Christmas Cards I ordered from Shutterfly get here asap. Since I received 50 cards for free, I bit the bullet and paid more than I would have liked to for shipping. I also ordered 1/2 of the cards with one pic and 1/2 of the cards with another pic so I hope the order arrives with the cards processed correctly. Just talked to customer service, and my cards are supposed to be here tomorrow. Like I said, fingers crossed!

....that somehow Drew and I will finish the Christmas shopping we need to do!

PTA Program Recap and "Tree-tweaking"

Last Tuesday night Connor was in the PTA Holiday Program and sang some cute little songs along with the rest of Kindergarten, PreK, and 1st grade. All of the kids were so cute, and although our eyes were on Connor most of the time, there was a few little kiddos that were quite dramatic and into the theatrics of it all (couldn't help but crack up)! Kids can be hilarious. There was one little girl who was realllllly into the dance moves and wanted to make sure her presence was known, my sister pointed out that she reminded her of herself as a child -- it's true. Ashley was definitely the entertainer...she would even tap dance on queue. All of the kids did a great job, and it was a short, sweet, and adorable little program.

As you can see above, I have added some pictures of our new and improved tree. Actually, it's not new at all. I added some poly-mesh netting stuff that was dirt cheap, and I finally found some "sticky outy" things at Michael's for 60% off, so I am loving the added pizazz to the tree. Drew even complimented it and said that I did a good job decorating it -- so sweet of my deer hunting redneck to notice ;)
Connor is fast asleep under a huge mound of blankets and surrounded by his beloved pillow pets, and I am headed that way myself. Goodnight -- stay warm -- can't believe I saw a temp of 21 degrees today, and it is supposed to be lower than that tomorrow...yikes!

Best Christmas Cards, ever!!!

I didn't send out any Christmas cards last year, and I have kicked myself over and over for being a slacker. One of the great things about Christmas time is receiving all of the wonderful cards from friends & family. Drew, Connor, and I all love looking at the cards that friends and family send us, and I have to admit, some of the cutest cards have been from They have Christmas photo cards, photo calendars that make great gifts, and even New Years cards if you happen to forget to send out Christmas cards! I am planning to use Shutterfly for many gift ideas and stationery needs this year! There are cute designs on several websites, but it is impossible to go wrong with Shutterfly. It is always a safe bet! Here are some cards that I am loving from their site...

All of these cards are super cute! There are endless options, I also love the cards like one shown above that have 3 or 4 picture slots to show your favorite memories throughout the year. These cards would be cute for families with 3 or 4 children. Thanks to in-store pick up options, I am hoping to get our cards out asap. To be quite honest, we still need to get a picture for our Christmas cards! It will happen!!!! :)
